Installing Lato Fonts

AnTech uses the open-source Lato fonts in its marketing and drawings. A basic Lato font is included with Windows 10, but we need the full set of styles for full compatibility. The full set can be found on Google Fonts at https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Lato.

Without these styles, text in Word and other programs may not display correctly, and the positioning of the text may be wrong.

This document describes how to install the Lato fonts on Windows 10 from H drive (if you're on an AnTech network) or the Google Fonts page if you're anywhere else.

Install Lato Font

1. Open the Settings App
2. Navigate to “Personalisation --> Fonts”
3. Open File Explorer and navigate to:
   \\vm-dc03.antech.antech.co.uk\Fair Oak Court Data\Shared\Downloads\lato
   or follow the Google link above and click 'Get fonts' > 'Download all'
4. Select all the Lato font files in that folder
5. Click and drag the selected files into the “Drag and drop to install” box in the Settings app.
6. Windows will copy the files and begin installing the fonts
